grandma's condo

I was in Salt Lake recently for one of my best's friends wedding. As I was waiting for my ride to pick me and Lincoln up outside of the temple I realized I was really close to grandma's old condo. I snapped a pic to show all of you. They looked closer in real life. I loved seeing the building and remembering lots of visits to her place there. It made me miss her too. Even though she didn't like me much...I still have fond memories...and some funny ones too. I told Zack about seeing her old place and we laughed about the Christmas we spent there when we decked her place out for Christmas and got a huge tree. When we were shoving the tree in to the elevator dad told mom that she had no perspective of length or size or something of that nature....and she said, "well that's lucky for you!" Zack and I were just at the age to understand that kind of humor and it cracked us up big time. Same christmas I was throwing a fit over all my presents because I didn't like any of them. I was being a huge brat (hmmm...wonders never cease) and grandma was feeling quite justified in despising me. And then we woke up the day after Christmas and grandma had cleaned up christmas and had even gotten rid of the tree. ahhhhh...happy memories. I also remember a few christmas in oregon with lot's of cousins, presents, good food, and so much fun. Hope you all had a very merry christmas. I love you all!
